Copenhagen is a city of layers, and my latest walk felt like traveling through time. I began in the Kødbyen, where the raw, industrial energy of the old Meatpacking District still lingers. I couldn’t help but stop to capture a historic warehouse.
Leaving the industrial vibes behind, I moved toward the heart of the city. Soon, the grey concrete gave way to the explosion of color at Nyhavn. The iconic 17th-century houses were glowing, their reflections dancing in the canal.
The path then led me to the star-shaped fortress of Kastellet. Standing in stark contrast to the modern city was the Kastelsmøllen, a beautiful windmill that felt like a quiet whisper from the past.
Finally, I looped back to Sydhavnen. Away from the tourist bustle, I captured the tranquil waters of the harbor—a moment of pure stillness to end a journey of a thousand steps. Copenhagen, you never cease to amaze.
