Iguazu Falls

As we started the new year 2014, I am thinking again about some of the fantastic destinations we visited last year. One of those was the famous Iguazu Falls which we visited both on the Brazilian and the Argentine side. Although it is called the Iguazu Falls, it’s not just one waterfall but a continuous series of waterfalls for a massive 2.7 kilometres. One of the most fun things to do is get into one of the rubber boats and get close to the waterfalls. You will get wet, very wet, but it’s a lot of fun.

  1. Nice to hear you were in the neighbourhood Jan. :¬) Pretty stunning, eh? The best way to do this is by booking a hotel within one of the parks, did you do that? It allows you to be at the falls before anyone else and after everybody has gone… for example during a full moon. Absolutely stunning.
